One of the best breakfast I've had in my life. Fruit is amazing, cooking is amazing, and there's a dude making kurabuta on demand. Room is very comfortable and the view to Sakurajima is great - I stayed looking at it for minutes a few times. Onsen is not only very good and very clean, but it also has the view. Try watching the sun rise at the onsen (yes, wake up at 4:30 and go). It's an amazing hotel.

Absolutely awesome location. There's a fascinating view of the city below and the ocean. The hotel itself is surprisingly upscale for the price they charge, which is very reasonable. I was even able to get a last-minute upgrade to a really nice room for just $50 or so. Overall, very impressed. Would love to come back.

Most of the staff with whom I interacted were kind, courteous and respectful. The facilities are beautiful. The bed was incredibly comfortable. When I requested an extra pillow, they offered firm or soft. Within a few minutes, a friendly staff membered delivered not one, but two to my room. The view from the public bath is extraordinary. The sweet sound of the crickets was so relaxing. It was great to start and end my day with that view. There's also a lovely patio with a view.
