Multiple elevators weren't working to include the elevator from the garage to lobby. As an individual who uses cane's and struggle with steps, this was truly upsetting. Not to mention a futball club was staying for a match the next day, as I tried to even leave to get to the garage I was stopped by team security who refused to allow me to walk to the garage the closest way possible. They put the team over its other customers. I've stayed at Melia from Sevilla, Benidorm, Alicante and Madrid, but this one is terrible...security for the futball team should not be interacting with individuals staying at the hotel. Hotel staff should be present in those situations. The hotel can be very nice, but it doesn't matter when their elevators dont work and security for other events are confronting guest.
