Unsafe Stay – €4,100 Stolen From a Locked Safe During my stay at this hotel, €4,100 in cash was stolen from a locked in-room safe. The money was kept securely and consisted of different currencies. There were no signs of forced entry, which raises serious concerns about the hotel’s security. The hotel stated that an internal investigation was conducted, but no responsible person was identified, and the stolen money was not returned. The hotel also refused to compensate for the loss. The only compensation I received was a voucher from Booking.com, worth about 10% of the total cost of my stay, which does not reflect the seriousness of the incident. Based on my experience, this hotel is not safe for valuables, and future guests should be aware of the risk or consider staying elsewhere.
