The room was very clean and comfortable, and the staff were warm and genuinely helpful. The spa was great and definitely one of the highlights of the stay. On the downside, the restaurant was quite weak and none of the staff could speak a word of English, which made communication difficult. We had booked this hotel mainly for the pool, but unfortunately the outdoor pool didn’t get any sun during our stay because of the hotel’s positioning. On top of that, the atmosphere around the pool was uncomfortable — rows of gentlemen sitting at tables drinking tea and smoking right beside the pool made it far from a relaxing experience. As for the advertised “mountain view,” it was more like a small hill with newly planted trees, definitely not what we expected from the description on Booking. Overall, while the rooms and spa were very good, the pool and restaurant experience were disappointing, and the hotel didn’t quite deliver what was advertised.
