SkyWest Airlines is a subsidiary of SkyWest Airlines Inc, a holding company that also owns Atlantic Southeast Airlines and ExpressJet. Established in 1972, SkyWest Airlines is the founding airline of the holding company. It has capacity purchase agreements with United Express, Delta Connection and Alaska Airlines. SkyWest Airlines planned to launch a subsidiary airline, SkyWest Charter, in Oct-2022. SkyWest Charter submitted EAS proposals to the US Department of Transportation in Jan-2023.
